Divine is the Creation of its owner and operator, Sherrie Blakeman, with the help and assistance of her husband, Stephen McAtee, and many family members, friends and co-workers. Located in southwest sector of the City of Calgary, in the new Aspen Village Shopping Centre, Divine Creations provides new, innovating and exciting floral arrangements, along with a wide array of premier giftware.
Sherrie prides herself on being honest, diligent and dedicated to providing great customer service, great product and personalized arrangements to suit any event, whether it be a wedding, graduation, or holiday festivity. Sherrie brings many years of retail experience to Divine, along with a great deal of passion and fortitude. After receiving her Floral Design Certificate from MRC, Calgary, Sherrie embarked on a long journey which has ultimately brought her to the opening of Divine Creations. Sherrie received further certification in Advanced Floral Design and Advanced Wedding Design from Phil Rulloda, AAF, AIFD, PFCI. In March of 2009, Sherrie attended the A&M University in Texas to attend the Designing for Excellence certification program (advanced floral and wedding design) personally instructed by Hitomi Gilliam, AIFD, Mary Linda Horn, AIFD, Jim Johnson, AIFD, and Lottie Nys, AIFD.
